By placing an order on the Collections Trust shop, you agree to these terms and conditions.
To make a purchase select the items you wish to buy and click the ‘Add to basket’ button. You can review and change the contents of your basket up to the point of payment. When you are ready, click ‘Checkout’. When your order has been submitted, you will receive an automatic confirmation email with the details of your purchase. Your order will normally be processed by us within two working days.
Availability and turnaround time
The normal turnaround time before each product is shipped is shown on the relevant shop page. Several products (such as overprinted accession registers and forms) are printed to order and will take a little longer to produce.
Products are advertised in good faith, but we reserve the right to offer a full refund if our suppliers are unable to fulfill your order for any unforeseen reason.
Prices, VAT and shipping
Products other than books are subject to VAT within the EU. The prices displayed on the shop pages for these products include VAT. In your basket, however, the VAT is shown separately. This VAT will be deducted at checkout if:
- You are ordering from outside the EU.
- You are ordering from outside the UK, but inside the EU, and enter the VAT number of your institution or company.
Prices displayed do not include postage and packaging charges, which depend on the items you order and where they are being shipped to. Postage and packaging charges will be calculated and shown before you checkout.
Security and data protection
All card payments are made within the secure site of our payment gateway, SagePay. Your card details are not shared with us or anyone else. The contact details you give us while shopping will only be used to process your order, according to our data protection policy. Collections Trust is a registered data controller with the Information Commissioner. Please see our privacy notice for more information.
Changes and cancellations
If you would like to change or cancel your order contact firstname.lastname@example.org quoting your order number. For items other than conference tickets, you may change or cancel your order, or any part of it, at any time before the products are delivered to you, except for customised items once the overprinting has been done. With conference tickets, a full refund will be given if cancelled more than fourteen days before the event, but no refund will be given after that date.
If you would like to return a product contact email@example.com quoting your order number within 14 days of receipt. Please note we cannot accept returns for customised items unless we have made a mistake during the overprinting or they are otherwise faulty.

We will only refund your postage costs if the products are returned because they are faulty or we have made a mistake.
Any refunds (including the cost of posting faulty goods) will be credited to the card or account used at checkout within 14 days of receiving the returns.
We reserve the right to alter, amend, add to, or remove all or any part of these terms and conditions statement at any time without notice and any changes apply with immediate effect of being published. By continuing to place orders after any changes are displayed you indicate your acceptance of those changes.
By accepting these terms and conditions, you create an agreement with Collections Trust. This agreement is governed under the law of England and Wales.
