What problem are we trying to solve?
At Collections Trust we help museums capture and share the information that gives objects meaning and goes to the heart of what it means to be a museum. In the words of the our sector’s code of ethics, museums ‘preserve and transmit knowledge, culture and history.’ Yet almost every museum we know struggles with the information management needed to fulfil this responsibility and it is holding them – and the wider sector – back.
