Information requirements - changes in Spectrum 5.0
Resource
This extract from the appendix volume of Spectrum 5.0 lists the changes to the information requirements in this latest version compared to Spectrum 4.0.
As you follow the text version of a suggested procedure in Spectrum you will notice that the bits of information you might need to record are listed (eg Object name, Entry number, Brief description). Spectrum calls these concepts units of information and lists them in information groups (eg Object identification information).
Information groups are sets of related units of information used to record a particular aspect of an object, a particular procedure or process, or other ‘entity’ (such as a person, organisation, or date). They are particularly used by system designers.
