Young Trustees Guide: Developing the next generation of charity leaders

Accreditation requires museums to be long-term organisations with an appropriate constitution. Museums are expected to demonstrate a good understanding of their governance arrangements.

This guide from the Charities Aid Foundation aims to encourage more charities to take on young trustees, or at least to put in place programmes that give young people the relevant skills that they will need for future service as trustees. The guide also provides tips on overcoming the challenges faced by young people who are interested in becoming trustees.
