Who Cares? Museums, health and wellbeing

This resource is related to the Accreditation Standard sections 3.3.2, ‘Providing access to the collections and associated information for research purposes and other forms of engagement’ and 3.3.3, ‘Provide effective and stimulating learning and discovery experiences focussed on the collections.’

This resource is a result of collaboration between health professionals, six major museums and art galleries in the North West of England and researchers from the Psychosocial Research Unit at the University of Central Lancashire. It provides information on the potential of museums and galleries to enhance the health and wellbeing of patients and staff. The booklet also describes some of the emerging themes in the research about the programme carried out by the University of Central Lancashire.
