Textile collections care – British Museum collections skills film

As part of the British Museum’s collections skills training, this film looks at the de-installation of a touring textiles exhibition and the conservation and collections care involved in putting the textiles and transportation crates back into storage. Stuart Watson, Assistant Collections Manager: Care and Access, talks through all of the stages involved in making sure the textiles are returned to storage successfully following their exhibition and the object information is updated in the collections documentation records.
