Successful retailing for smaller museums

Aimed at smaller independent museums but with relevance to all museums, this paper is not intended as a definitive guide to museum retailing but a way of pointing those who are new to retailing in the right direction. It has been written for smaller museums, although it will have a wider application. It provides an insight into some of the complexities of retailing and an understanding of why it is sometimes necessary to seek professional advice.
