Definition

The stage in the procedure which an individual object has reached.

How to record

Use a single term, without punctuation or capitalisation. Maintain a list of standard terms.

planned; authorised; agreed; closed; cancelled; refused; requested; to be reviewed; conservation; requested; photography requested

Use

Use in association with Information group headings to record the status of a procedure, eg [Loan out] Status. Record once only for each procedure. Previous Statuses may be retained, but should be associated with the appropriate Status date in order to identify the current status.
