Case study: theft of the Wenlok Jug, Stockwood Discovery Centre

This presentation (audio track and PowerPoint slides) by Karen Perkins, Director of Museums, Luton Culture, discusses the theft of the Wenlok Jug from Stockwood Discovery Centre in September 2012.

The presentation was made at one of six seminars organised by the Collections Trust, which were funded by Arts Council England as part of its “Building Capacity for Museum Security” project to promote awareness of good practice in museum security. The aim of the project was to help museums build their confidence and capacity so that collections remain secure from loss, theft and damage.
