Case study: safety and security of collections

A presentation (audio track and PowerPoint slides) from 2013 by William Brown, National Security Adviser for Arts Council England, giving an overview of museum security issues, and introducing one of six security seminars organised by the Collections Trust.

The security seminars were funded by Arts Council England as part of its “Building Capacity for Museum Security” project to promote awareness of good practice in museum security. The aim of the project was to help museums build their confidence and capacity so that collections remain secure from loss, theft and damage.
