Case study: Poor as a stockinger at Framework Knitters’ Museums, Ruddington

This case study focuses on the further development by the Framework Knitters’ Museum of their relationship with local schools, through the creation of a young persons’ steering committee that would offer students the chance to have a real input into the museum’s displays, interpretation, creative content and learning offer.

This case study is relevant to Accreditation requirements 3.3.2 and 3.3.3: ‘Providing access to the collections and associated information for research purposes and other forms of engagement’ and ‘Provide effective and stimulating learning and discovery experiences focused on the collections.’
