What Collections Trust did in 2018-19

Collections Trust has recently published an annual review for the financial year 2018-19 (yes, we know it’s now 2020!). This reiterates Collection Trust’s mission and summarises our activities over a period of 12 months, including the consultancy we undertook, both in the UK and abroad, and our report on Mapping digitised collections in England for the Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport (DCMS).

One of the rather impressive pieces of information the review contains is that Sarah Brown, Collections Trust’s Outreach Officer, ran 102 training sessions with over a 1000 people, on topics such as banishing the backlog and rationalisation, across the nine museum development regions in England.
