Decolonising the database: roundtable discussion

Prompted by discussions on social media and in online conference chat, we’re trying to find out what kind of documentation-related guidance and standards people are looking for as they work towards decolonising their museum practice. We’re interested in specific examples of collections management issues you’ve encountered or anticipate, and invite you to join an online roundtable discussion.

Note that this is not training, nor a general discussion about decolonisation: please come prepared to contribute your thoughts to a group discussion about the collections management guidance and standards you and the wider sector need for your decolonisation work.

To keep numbers manageable, registration for this event is now closed. Twenty places have been allocated on a first-come-first-served basis, and those people have been notified by email. We are arranging a further two sessions for all the other people who registered.
