Spectrum 4.0: Object exit procedure

The Object exit procedure involves the management and documentation of objects leaving the organisation’s premises. It ensures good practice whenever objects leave the museum for any reason (e.g. disposal, conservation treatment, loan) and defines the information that could be collected.

Object exit is a Spectrum Primary Procedure. This means that in order to meet the documentation requirements for the Museum Accreditation Scheme an organisation must reach the Spectrum Minimum Standard for this procedure.
