This September Museum Development North East are hosting a one day collections event, exploring how museums can use their collections to inspire and engage new audiences. Drawing on regional case studies, the day will provide an opportunity for museums to come together to share learning from a range of projects.
This interactive day will include presentations and discussion around:
- Using collections for social impact
- Partnership working
- Project development
- Funding opportunities
The day will also provide a practical update on collections management, including:
- An introduction to the new Spectrum 5.0, Sarah Brown – Collections Trust
- A focus on Accreditation requirements for collections
